Advanced booking seat policy
For your greater comfort on board and to ensure that you fly with your relatives and travelling companions, Iberia Express offers all its clients the possibility to choose their seat further in advance. Consult here the conditions for the class in which you are flying.

Business
Clients travelling in Iberia Express Business Class may choose their seat in advance free from the time the booking is made, without necessarily having their tickets issued beforehand.

Tourist XL seats
On Iberia Express, Tourist XL seats, in which clients have more space for their comfort, may be booked.
These seats are next to the emergency exits of the planes. Thus, to be able to sit here, passengers must be capable of assisting the crew in emergency situations and meet certain requirements.
Special requirements for emergency seats.
To assure your Tourist XL seat, Iberia Express offers the option of reserving these seats from the time you book by paying a supplement:
- 10 € per sector on domestic flights, except to the Canary Islands.
- 15 € per sector on flights to the Canary Islands and Europe.
- The ticket must have been issued to be able to book this seat in advance.
- Seats may be booked and purchased from Manage my booking at iberiaexpress.com and from the Iberia Express Booking office.
- The prices are valid from 25 March 2012 and are subject to change.

Who can book early Tourist XL seats free of charge?
- Clients travelling in Business class
- Clients travelling on the Full Tourist Y fare
- Clients with certain corporate fares booked in B,H, K, M, Z, L and A
- Iberia Club Fiesta, Iberia Plus Platinum and Gold (emerald and sapphire in oneworld) clients
- Seats may be requested online from Manage my booking.

You may also choose your seat free of charge 24 hours before departure, at the time of obtaining your boarding cards. Available online for many departure and destination airports, or directly at the airport. Online Check-in
Iberia Express may change the allocation of booked seats for reasons of operation, safety or control.
